The newly founded Unified Galaxy Federation (UGF) emerged from the ashes, uniting Earth's brightest minds and most ambitious explorers under one interstellar charter: to seek peace, knowledge, and survival among the stars.

Earth’s Collapse & the Europa Catalyst

In 2124, the Resource Drought brought Earth’s megacities to the brink: rising seas, agricultural failures, and orbital disputes over atmospheric scrubber networks threatened extinction-level collapse. The last straw came in the form of the Orbital Proxy Conflicts—a series of drone and satellite skirmishes between megablocks like the Pan-Pacific Alliance and the Neo-Atlantic Treaty Group.

But then came Europa.

A joint deep-ice research mission on Jupiter’s moon discovered a non-human structure embedded beneath 19 kilometers of glacial ice. It contained:

  • A mathematical star chart—predicting pulsar activity with alarming precision

  • A silicon-templated language designed to interface with neural waveforms

  • A concept known as the Unity Protocol, implying planetary-scale consciousness

The discovery forced humanity to stop fighting. For the first time, Earth’s leaders agreed:

Founding of the Unified Galaxy Federation (UGF)
